Grow Right Digital is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day. This year’s theme is #embraceequity , and we take this opportunity to highlight the need to remove bias from recruiting and support diversity in recruitment for STEM professionals.

Despite the significant strides made towards gender equality in the workforce, women are still underrepresented in STEM fields. This is due to various factors, including implicit bias in the recruitment process, lack of access to opportunities, and insufficient support for women in male-dominated industries.

At Grow Right Digital, we are committed to promoting diversity and equality in STEM recruitment. Our AI solution, ERICA, explicitly removes bias from the initial screening process and provides tools that measure and encourage diversity. We work with our AI developers to minimize implicit bias, such as removing any bias against career breaks, which can impact professional women and men looking to start and focus on growing a family.

In addition to our commitment to removing bias for women in the recruitment process, we are proud to provide opportunities that improve the chances of employing a more diverse workforce. Our partnerships with recruitment agencies allow us to provide access to a more diverse pool of candidates for STEM professionals. We also work with ANU via their Techlauncher program, where we sponsor a team of ICT students in completing real-world projects.
